Variety selection is critical to create seed mixtures for the specific purpose for what they are required. Varieties are selected on merit of Total Yield, D-value, Winter Hardiness and Persistence. These attributes are prioritised appropriately according to the purpose of the mixture. All varieties are first choice on the Scottish Recommendation List, and purchased to Higher Voluntary Standard or Country of Origin equivalent.
